What the desktop app adds
Files of any size
Workbooks and CSV files are read from your disk where they are, with no browser memory limit.
Straight into your database
Load into PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB or SQLite, including a database you reach over a VPN.
Jobs you run again
Save a file's settings and where it goes, then run it again when the file changes.
Converted on your computer
Files are converted on your computer, and database passwords stay in its keychain.
Load a file in three steps
- 1
Add your database
Its host, port, database and user, or a SQLite file. The password goes to the system keychain.
- 2
Open the file
Drop a workbook, CSV or JSON file. The sheet, the header and every column's type are found, with each fix marked.
- 3
Load it
Pick the database and load. The table is created with the right types; if the load fails, the table it made is dropped.

Converting files and loading into SQLite are free. Loading into PostgreSQL, MySQL or MariaDB and saved jobs are part of IntoSQL Pro, with a 14-day free trial on each computer.
How do I turn on Pro in the app?
Copy your license from your IntoSQL account and paste it under License in the app. It renews itself while your plan is paid.
